Unity Meals

Unity Meals is an organization that strives to provide affordable and accessible meal plans for youths across Southern California. They work with several schools and as they continue to grow they were in need of an update for their website. Their old website contained dated information, was cumbersome to update on their own, and lacked the vibrant branding they wanted to be associated with.

With this in mind we set to work on creating a simple sitemap that focused on just the essentials of their meals, who they are, and how to contact them. We then began creating a new design that better highlighted the food images the client provided and the brand colors found within their logo. The web design was created in Figma, where we also kept ADA guidelines in mind while deciding how best to showcase and use their branding.

After receiving approval on the design we then moved forward with building their website using the Divi theme in WordPress. During the build process we applied subtle scroll effects and other animations to help liven up the images even further throughout their site, and once the build was completed we provided a quick training on how to edit and update their website so they can apply changes as needed.
