Hey there! I just want to thank you for stopping by my portfolio site, Candice Allen Art! As an illustrator, graphics creator, and front-end web designer I work hard to ensure that everything I create meets all of the client’s needs and desires to the fullest! I am a young designer with years of experience under my belt and a BA degree in Graphic Design from Point Loma Nazarene University. With all of this experience and education it is my constant goal to find a concept and approach that creates a unique solution for all of the projects I take on.

When I’m not working on projects for others, I continue to push myself with personal projects such as creating and selling fun creature or original Fan Art designs on my TeePublic account. I also continue to work on the creation of a web comic as another personal project outside of work.

So what's the process?

While each project is unique and can require more steps than others, I have at least three actions I take no matter what the task at hand is! Research, Design, and Refinement (better known as the final step before you can Enjoy the work!) are always included no matter how small or large the objective is.

Let’s take a look at some actual work now so you can see what my process creates!

    RESEARCH

    Whether it’s illustration, web, or print design I always start the job by asking questions, researching examples, and following my gut!

    DESIGN

    After step one I start creating different versions of the project and present a maximum of three mock-up designs to refine the direction and show the client the possibilities of their idea!

    ENJOY

    Once the directions decided it’s time to finalize! This step is also known as the Refinement stage, as the project will be refined to perfection with a final review before officially being completed!
