O.L. Halsell Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides funding and support for other non-profit organizations within the Orange County community in California, USA. While they have been working for over 60 years and had a website, it was a site with dated information and a confusing layout that needed a refresh.

First, for this web design after establishing the core colors and imagery to use we then set forth and created visual mockups within Figma. The colors were inspired both from their logo and sunsets near the beaches of Orange County.  These colors were applied with ADA best practices in mind in order to maintain consistent contrast and readability throughout the web design. Once the web design was approved it was then taken from Figma and brought built within WordPress using the theme and builder Divi.

This website design focused on simplicity and scenic imagery from around the Orange County area to emphasis the location they work in and are located.
